Benefits:
Saffron contains several minerals and vitamins, especially potassium, which helps control blood pressure and prevents spills. It is also a source of vitamins C, an ally of immunity, and vitamin B6, which is beneficial for the brain. The spice still has iron, manganese, calcium, magnesium, protein and a high content of soluble fiber are also present. However, its great value lies in curcumin, a polyphenol with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action, responsible for the intense yellow color of saffron.
